The world finally waking up, evil vs. incompetence, letting go of the physical world and macro/micro focus

Ideas

Being on the right side of history is an incredible feeling. Shoutout to all of the misinformed and woke people who doubted, criticized and treated me like trash over the past 2 years. I may forgive you, but I will always remember how you treated me throughout COVID.

With all of the truth coming out about Fauci, the CDC, big pharma and the government right now (we’ve been trying to tell you!), once your eyes are open to what’s really going on, it’s a good idea to apologize to all of the people you disrespected for the last 2 years. Though you might get some jabs, we’re just happy you’ve finally awakened from your slumber because we need as many people as possible. Then, redirect your anger at those who have caused more harm than good and at a minimum, have taken 2 years from your life that you can never get back.

Is the response from our “leaders” and “health experts” around “COVID” incompetent or just plain evil? I waver back and forth between this. It might be a spectrum — or it might be both. But it’s definitely not from good-hearted, competent and intelligent people because those people are labelled “conspiracy theorists” (lol). Side note, I did a poll on Instagram to see what my audience thought and the results were 61% evil, 39% incompetent.

If terrible people are telling you that you’re a bad person, you’re probably doing something right. Keep doing what you’re doing, kings and queens.

Replace hope with maybe. “I hope this will happen” means that you know that this is the highest thing that should happen — but you don’t know what’s best for you. How could you? You’re just human, after all. Instead, say, “maybe this will happen” because, at the end of the day, you don’t know and the universe knows infinitely better than you ever could.

You can’t hold on to anything in the physical world forever. Everything in this material world has an expiry date. Everything that exists in this realm is fleeting.

Focus on one thing at a time in the macro and micro. Resist the seductive urge to take on too many projects at once. It will steal your energy, happiness and progress. If you are spread too thin, then tackle whatever may be preventing you from focusing at a macro level by focusing on doing one thing at a time in the micro (day-to-day), giving each action your full attention and energy.

If you’re for everyone, you’re for no one. If you’re doing everything, you’re doing nothing. Don’t be vanilla or too widespread. No worthwhile audience, brand or business was ever built without a strong niche to start and those who keep their loyal base maintain their niche.

When you find the right song, the edit just flows. As soon as you can, find the right song that accurately represents the vibe of the footage from the audience, and from there, the music will help guide the edit.

When you’re committed to simplifying your communication like I am, it can sometimes feel lazy to publish a long message. But so long as the inessentials are eliminated and is constantly bringing value to the end consumer, it’s totally okay to expand in a lengthier format.

KSI and Logan Paul’s launch of Prime. If anyone has followed YouTube boxing, you’d know how remarkable this is. After years of rivalry that included beating the hell out of each other on the world stage twice, JJ and Logan — some of my favourite creators on earth — have not only become good friends but have come together to become business partners on their new hydration drink. I’ve been blown away by the whole thing and have thoroughly enjoyed this unity arc of the overarching storyline. My favourite moments so far: KSI’s return to Impaulsive (such a great episode), the launch video on Logan’s channel (incredible edit and storytelling by Hayden Hillier Smith, too), a hilarious clip from the launch and a wholesome clip, too. Very happy for these guys and feeling inspired by so much within this collaboration. Looking forward to the day when I can be friends with these two.

KSI’s response to getting measured by fans. Unless you’re in the community, you probably won’t understand this long-standing joke with his audience where he said he’s 6 foot for years but is actually 5’11. But what you will be able to understand, is how respectful, kindhearted and well intentioned he treats the people in his audience, even if they’re playing around with him. It’s everything. I gain more respect for this man all the time.

Fifteen Million Merits. This was an incredibly thought-provoking episode of Black Mirror. Spoilers ahead! A man that’s in a system he despises so much that is willing to kill himself to bring awareness to its inherent flaws. But when that same system rewards him, he’d rather receive the benefits from hosting a show pretending to be a victim than to take his own life. Very interesting. Golden handcuffs at its finest.

David Dobrik’s South African adventure vlog. A+ storytelling and an overall really enjoyable video. This really inspired me from a craft level. Also, makes me want to travel a little. But alas, not bad enough to comply with this nonsense and take an experimental vaccine!

Rand Paul owning “Doctor” Fuck Face Fauci at a senate hearing. Fauci’s hands are literally trembling. The narrative is collapsing, he’s panicking and all he can do is say “that’s a distortion of reality” and “you’re incorrect” when he’s under pressure with the facts right in his face! The irony is incredible. Blows me away that people still trust, listen and support anything he touches.

Reacting to hitting 100 subscribers. So, so fortunate. Big thanks to my former self for spending so much time on that drone video, as it’s paid huge dividends in the algorithm so far. But most importantly, a huge thanks to everyone who cared enough to want to stick around to see more. It means a lot.

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading.

Until next week, much love.
