Welcome back to another newsletter. As always, the format is simple:
- Ideas I’m thinking about
- Resources that are upgrading my quality of life
- The latest from me
Let’s get into it.
Ideas
Surrender to everything life throws your way. Even if your mind doesn’t like it, surrender. That doesn’t mean to be docile or to say yes to everything, but rather, to surrender to the “is-ness” of any and every situation you may find yourself in while taking the necessary actions.
Slow down. Be present to whatever’s arising within you. Don’t suppress it. Lean into it. Feel it. Experience it. Feel where it is in your body. Send it love. Accept it. Thank it for trying to help protect you. Be compassionate with it. And then, without trying to push it away or make it stop, watch it naturally subside.
Creating high-value concept ideas needn’t be separate from personality-based videos. If done right, you can have a video with a fascinating idea, edited in a ridiculously fast way for retention purposes while also infusing your personality simultaneously through the filming, editing, humour, and commentary. At the end of the day, everyone can make the same video, but your unique personality and style are what separates you from the rest of the creators and how you build a brand.
Lead with interestingness. Create what’s interesting to you, talk about what’s interesting to you, and share what’s interesting to you. If you’re interested, someone else is likely going to be interested too. And in the rare chance that no one else is interested, at least you’ll be!
It’s less about the tool and more about how you use the tool. As fun as it would be to buy all the best equipment in the world, you’re can only execute as well as your skills allow you. Do the best with what you have, for you have still have so much untapped potential with your current gear and technology.
Self-improvement, developing a winners mindset and taking responsibility is the answer to solving all of our current global problems. If everyone were to work on themselves, we would also fix the world virtually overnight.
Business ceases to exist if you don’t address our global challenges. If the world burns, your customers will be affected, their income reduced or not evaporated, and therefore your business can vanish. Neglecting the world’s issues only works if enough people are working to correct them.
You don’t need to rush to comment on everything. I’d rather be late to commenting than to comment quickly, but be wrong. I’d rather listen, learn, feel things through, think critically, and then when I think I’ve found the truth and I’m ready to share what I believe to be true, I can do so.
If Klaus Schwab, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Justin Trudeau and mainstream media are all aligned on something, it’s a safe bet to believe the opposite is likely true.
To understand their every move, understand what they want and where they’re headed. Knowing the end destination makes each step of the plan make more sense.
People can be so brainwashed that in 2022, they still believe that COVID was all about health. I feel for these people. I really do. The dots are there, but you still need to connect them.
Resources
The Surrender Experiment. I talked about this last week and this book was so good, that I needed to bring it up again. Just wow. The stories that Michael Singer shares in this book are incredible, and it’s all on a foundation of surrendering to whatever life throws your way . I’m especially inspired, as he had just as much spiritual growth with spiritual practices as he did with surrendering within development and business, where he had more success than he could’ve ever imagined.
The Batman. Badass movie. After the first watch, Robert Pattinson is officially my favourite portrayal of Batman. Despite many saying that Bruce Wayne and Batman didn’t feel different enough, Pattinson’s youth made Bruce Wayne so much more realistic in my eyes. Also, the Batman theme by Michael Giacchino has been on loop for the past week (which of course, has been added to my soundtrack playlist).
Andy Frisella on Russia vs. Ukraine at 56m. By far the most interesting take I’ve heard so far and it totally rocked my world. When the globalists are aligned on an issue, run in the opposite direction. This situation is so much more intricate than anyone realizes. It requires nuance because very little is making sense within this war. And once again, those with bleeding hearts, leading with emotion over facts and logic have likely been duped again. This isn’t a world for those led by their emotions. It’s a world for the level-headed.
Real AF episode featuring JP Sears. This got multiple listens, too. They talk about truth, freedom, dicks, depopulation, globalists, WEF, vaccine rumours, and a whole bunch of other gold. Notable takeaway? Respond to world events with curiosity.
The latest
My meme/response to vaccine passports being removed where I live (in Ontario, Canada). Feels incredible to have more and more tyrannical restrictions lifted. I also went low-key tin foil on the feed for the first time, which felt weird, but it’s a great way to push the brainwashed away.
That’s all for now. Until next week, be well.
Much love,
—Josh
