Freedom Convoy, moving into a new apartment and letting go of the past

Hello all! I’m out of whack on the scheduling of this and skipped last week’s newsletter because the move was incredibly chaotic. Looking back, I probably could have made the time for it, but I was all-in on moving, organizing and cleaning and when we were finished I was next level exhausted. Hell, I’m still tired. Anyways, let’s get it into it.

Ideas

I’d rather do something slow and great than fast and poorly. Quality matters. If you’re going to do something, don’t half-ass it. Take the time to do the job well, otherwise, you’re likely to have to do the job again.

If the Freedom Convoy is so fringe, why have thousands — if not tens of thousands — of trucks showed up along with tens of thousands — if not hundreds of thousands — of people who came to support in person, even with the freezing cold temperatures? If that many people are there physically, how many people are supporting them from a distance? And why are convoys now popping up across the globe? Let the same people who’ve lied to you for the past 2 consistently discredit this movement in any way they can — let them call it fringe. Because in reality, it’s bigger than they could have ever imagined and they’re terrified of losing their position of power and control.

If left-wing MSM claims something is white supremacy, it probably isn’t. I’m at a point right now where the word has been made so vanilla through the left’s constant mislabeling and will eventually come back to haunt them when real white supremacy shows and no one takes them seriously. I keep seeing pieces written about how racist this movement is, yet they’re actively suppressing anything that shows Sikh, indigenous tribes and other POC joining in on the fight for freedom. Once again, MSM helps further divides us and manipulates people who aren’t smart enough to think for themselves or brave enough to challenge conventional narratives.

At what point do you just cut completely brainwashed people from your life? I’m disappointed with so many people right now who once again, cannot see through the illusion and are clouded by the lies that were told to them. Though I may love them, but I’m definitely cleansing my social circle right now.

People all over the planet, from all ethnicities, backgrounds and ways of life: “Fight for your freedoms, Canada. We stand with you! So much so, that we’re going to do our own freedoms convoys too!” White liberals in North America: “white supremacy, white nationalism!”

I’m willing to lose everyone and everything in the pursuit of truth, freedom and doing what’s right. Get with me and my mission or get the hell out of my way. I’m so willing to cut ties right now with people who are completely brainwashed.

Unless your past is perfect, squeaky clean and fully documented, don’t judge another’s — especially when they’ve grown and evolved far more than you ever have.

Get over the past by finding something better. Though I shed some tears when leaving the old place, especially after reading a neighbour’s text that pulled at my heartstrings and my Mom being separated from her cat, I was surprised how quickly I detached from the old place and situation after moving into the new apartment (that’s a whole lot nicer in my eyes). It’s easier to let go of something when you’re upgrading to something even better.

Though you do become your environment, you equally aren’t your environment. When moving residences, I still found myself accidentally being identified with the situation and what was around me. But at the end of the day, it’s just a house, not “my” house. I don’t have actual possession over the house, nor am I the house that surrounds me. It’s so easy to accidentally and subconsciously wrap your identity around the things you own, rent or experience — but it’s a dangerous game to falsely identify with impermanent things that at the end of the day, aren’t the real you.

Everything in this life is rented, even if you “own” it. You could possess all the items in the world, but eventually, they will go back to the universe. Possession in this world is a fleeting illusion, albeit a convincing one.

It’s impossible to lead if you’ve fallen behind in the weeds. Get your own house in order and then you can lead from the front. That wasn’t meant to be so literal, but I’ll take it. My great failure with moving is that I was behind from the beginning, so it was impossible for me to properly manage and lead. Whenever my next move arrives, I’ll be much more prepared ahead of time for what’s coming and it’ll be a whole lot simpler.

Chaos creates inaction. To be fully transparent, I’ve struggled to get a groove in this apartment so far. A big part of that is I haven’t found my ideal systems yet. I’m still figuring out where to work. But within chaos, you must create order.

Though moving can be chaotic (and boy, was ours ever a hot mess), moving is actually quite enjoyable. There’s a clear, beginning and end. The rules are clear on how to win. There’s visual feedback all day long to see your progress. Each box, bag, or item brings you closer to the finish line. There’s also a rush of endorphins that occurs to fill you with natural positive chemicals. It can be fun, if you make it so.

My experience of the Freedom Convoy 2022. I went in person to experience Kitchener’s passthrough and it brought me to tears. Contrary to popular belief, this is a very peaceful, freedom-loving and unity-based movement that has had a total hit job done on it by the media. But then again, if you still trust the media, that’s actually remarkable (and odds are you’re probably not reading this). But I digress. Anyways, hope you enjoy this mini-film I put together in only 1 day1This was a record for me. Felt great.

Tay and I have officially moved into our new place! My Mom, Taylor and I said goodbye to our shared home over the last 5+ years as we moved across the city into a beautiful new 2 bedroom apartment. I am obsessed with being higher up as the view of the city is mental. The design and aesthetic of the place are also so nice — it legitimately feels like we moved into a hotel. It still feels different to be here and without a parent for the first time ever, but I am really liking it. Thanks to everyone who helped us with this apartment! ❤ Video on the journey coming soon.

Guys, it feels good to be back to writing and creating again, as I paused almost all creative tasks for 10+ days as I tackled everything involved in this move. I missed it. And I’m happy to be back.

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading.

Until next week, be well.
