I got a drone. Here’s what happened. (DJI Mini 2 first flight!)

Today, we’re flying the DJI Mini 2 (as a complete beginner drone pilot).

Like many of you, I’ve watched badass drone shots all across YouTube, film and TV for years and thought to myself, I want to do this too someday. I realized however that micro drones like the DJI Mini 2 — which are drones that weigh under 250 grams — are not only super affordable but very easy to get started as you don’t need to get a license to begin flying a drone for the first time.

So, in my quest to become an elite content creator, it was time to invest in a tool that could allow me to capture the perspectives I couldn’t previously share so that I could continue to upgrade my visual storytelling. In this video, I’ll be taking you along the journey for my first drone flight ever. Enjoy!
